Join us for the first-ever AWeber HackAWthon, as we solve tough problems small and mid-sized businesses encounter on a daily basis while connecting with their audiences and marketing their products or services.
For 20 years, AWeber has helped millions of businesses, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, authors and more connect with their audiences in remarkable ways using our easy-to-use email marketing and automation tools.
Participants in the AWeber HackAWthon will be tasked with using the AWeber API to create unique applications that solve problems and create opportunities for our customers. Have an idea for a new application to connect email and social in a unique way? Or perhaps an app that makes emailing Wordpress blogs posts a snap? Check out some of the current applications we offer our customers. The sky's the limit, so think outside the box!

Eligibility
Open to all students, professionals, and problem solvers who are 18 years or older.
When you apply, please indicate if you already have an established team or would like for us to put you on a team.
Requirements
Resources
The application is required to use the AWeber public API. A temporary AWeber user account and API tokens will be provided to each team. We will also provide a sample boilerplate at a later date.
Functioning App
Hackers need to create a fully functioning application. While it does not need to be bug free, it should effectively depict the features and use of the AWeber API.
If your team is selected as one of the five teams to present to the judges panel, please feel free to further develop your application if needed.
Topic / Categories
The application must leverage the AWeber API and all application should aim to solve problems that a small or midsized business might encounter while marketing their products.
New vs. Existing
All applications need to be newly created during the hackathon.
What to Enter
In addition to providing a link to your application, at the end of the hack all teams will be responsible for giving a 3-5 minute pitch to show how you've leveraged the AWeber API to create AWesome applications to be used by small and midsize businesses.

The winning team will receive $1000 cash to be distributed evenly amongst all team members.
